How to Take Action on Facebook

1. Sign-up for Facebook

If you do not have one yet, sign-up for a Facebook account by following this link. Then fill out the sign-up form on the Facebook homepage.

2. Become a Fan:

Follow this link, and become a fan of Mark Amodei on Facebook. Then fill out this sign-up form.

3. Ask Your Friends to Join

Once you are in the Amodei Facebook network, the first action to take is to suggest Mark Amodei to friends, by clicking the “Suggest to Friends” link below the photo of Mark Amodei on his page, located in the top left. This will open a window with all of your friends on the screen in thumbnails. To suggest Mark Amodei to friends, click on each friend you want to send the page to, and then click “send invite.” This will invite your friends to join you in showing your support for Mark Amodei. Remember, grassroots networking and organizing is one of the key ways we can win this campaign.

4. Like, Comment, and Share

When you are a fan of Mark Amodei, the items we post on our page will also appear in your own Facebook News Feed. If you participate, and "comment/"like" the material we post, your friends also will see your comments and if they comment, then their friends will see it, and it creates a viral effect. You also can share the posts with your friends by clicking the "Share" button next to each of our posts, which reposts our original post on your own Facebook Wall.

5. Spread the Word About Amodei's "Events"

The more people that know about Mark Amodei's public events, the more people will hear his message of change for Nevada! On the "Events" tab of Mark Amodei's Facebook home page, you can share any of our events with your friends, and invite them, allowing them to RSVP.

Twitter has revolutionized how news and information is shared.

1. Find Amodei

You can find Mark Amodei on Twitter using this link:

2. Directing Traffic

On Twitter, when you post a tweet, there's a way to have that tweet directed towards a specific Twitter user. You can direct traffic to Mark Amodei's twitter page by using @amodei4nevada to specifically address Amodei.

3. Let Others Know About Amodei

See an online article or post by Mark Amodei that you like? Share it with your Twitter network! Every tweet helps our campaign. What you tweet about doesn't have to link to an online source either. Most Twitter apps will let you post photos and even video, so if you are at an Amodei rally, let the world know by tweeting about it. It really does help!

4. Network Amodei's Message Across Multiple Social Media Platforms:

You can have Twitter automatically update your status on Facebook whenever you post a tweet. It’s free. Just go to the Facebook Twitter application setup page, log in, and put in your Twitter information. Facebook will ask if you want to update your status automatically whenever you post a tweet.

5. Directly Converse with Mark on Twitter

If you see a tweet by Mark you like, you can reply directly to him by 'Replying' with @amodei4nevada in front of your tweet. This tells Twitter to post it on Mark Amodei's reply page.
